THE M PRIZE

The Huamao Meiyu Prize is sponsored by Ningbo Huamao Education Foundation and co-organized by Zhejiang Dongqianhu Education Research Institute, aimed at delivering the aesthetic education philosophy: Educate and sublime people with aesthetics so that they would develop their own aesthetic makings and thus be able to share them with others. This Prize has started in 2021, and is scheduled to be awarded one a year.

Alvaro Siza

Alvaro Siza, born in Portugal in 1933, is regarded as one of the “most important contemporary architects.” He is reputed as an inheritor of early modernism for his world well-known sculpture-like poetic modern architecture.
